Women's Health Changes Are Not Always Just Part of Getting Older

If you've been feeling more tired than usual, struggling with changes in weight or body composition, or wondering why your body doesn't respond the way it once did, you're not alone.

Many women experience significant hormonal and metabolic changes during midlife, yet often feel unsupported or told it's simply part of getting older.

At Elara Clinical Nutrition, I help women understand what's happening in their bodies and develop practical, evidence-based nutrition strategies that support energy, metabolic health, body composition, and long-term wellbeing.

The goal isn't perfection—it's helping you feel stronger, healthier, and more like yourself again.

About Lindsey
Bayne-McKellar

I'm Lindsey Bayne-McKellar, a Clinical Nutritionist (MSc) with a special interest in women's metabolic health, perimenopause, menopause, and GLP-1 nutrition support.

Like many women, I've seen firsthand how midlife can bring unexpected changes in energy, body composition, sleep, and overall wellbeing. These changes can feel confusing and frustrating—particularly when the strategies that once worked no longer seem effective.

My approach combines evidence-based clinical nutrition with practical, personalised support to help women better understand their bodies, improve energy, support metabolic health, and navigate this stage of life with confidence.
