ABOUT ME
Helping Women Navigate Midlife Health with Confidence
I'm Lindsey Bayne-McKellar, a Clinical Nutritionist (MSc) with a special interest in women's metabolic health, perimenopause, menopause, and GLP-1 nutrition support.
I work with women who feel like their bodies have changed—but haven't been given clear answers as to why.
Many of the women I support are experiencing changes in energy, sleep, body composition, appetite, and metabolic health during midlife. They often tell me that the strategies that once worked no longer seem effective, leaving them frustrated, confused, and unsure where to turn.
My role is to help make sense of those changes and translate nutrition science into practical, sustainable strategies that support long-term health and wellbeing.
Why This Work Matters
Midlife is often a time of significant change.
Hormonal transitions such as perimenopause and menopause can influence energy levels, sleep quality, stress resilience, appetite regulation, body composition, and metabolic health. Yet many women find these changes are poorly understood, normalised, or simply attributed to ageing.
While these experiences are common, they are not always well supported.
I believe women deserve evidence-based information, personalised guidance, and practical strategies that help them feel informed and empowered—not overwhelmed.
Nutrition cannot stop hormonal change, but it can play an important role in supporting how you feel through it.
My Approach
My approach is evidence-informed, structured, and grounded in physiology.
Rather than focusing on quick fixes, restrictive diets, or the latest health trends, I work to understand the underlying factors influencing your health and develop realistic strategies that fit your lifestyle.
Together, we may focus on:
• Supporting energy and metabolic health
• Preserving muscle mass and body composition
• Navigating perimenopause and menopause
• Optimising nutrition during GLP-1 therapy
• Building sustainable nutrition and lifestyle habits
• Supporting long-term health and healthy ageing
The goal is not perfection.
The goal is helping you feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in your body.
Qualifications & Professional Development
I hold a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Nutrition and continue to undertake professional development in women's health, metabolic health, behaviour change, and evidence-based nutrition.
Professional education includes:
• Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Nutrition, University of Aberdeen
• Certificate, Evidence Based Nutrition: The Quest for Proof -Harvard School of Public Health
• Managing Menopause in General Practice - Jean Hailes Menopause Australia
I am committed to ongoing learning to ensure my practice remains informed by current evidence and best practice.
Workplace Education & Corporate Wellbeing
Alongside clinical practice, I develop and deliver workplace education programs focused on women's health, perimenopause awareness, metabolic wellbeing, and sustainable performance.
My goal is to help organisations better understand the realities of midlife health, create supportive workplace cultures, and improve awareness among leaders, managers, and teams.
This work sits at the intersection of clinical nutrition, public health, and organisational wellbeing.
Let's Work Together
Whether you're navigating perimenopause, looking to improve your metabolic health, seeking support while using GLP-1 medications, or simply wanting to better understand what your body needs during this stage of life, I'm here to help.
Together, we'll create practical, evidence-based strategies that support your health, your goals, and your long-term wellbeing.
